Overview

The Eye Drop Challenge

The use of eye drops during eye examination procedures is unpleasant for the patient and time consuming for the doctor. On average, the waiting period until the pupil is fully dilated is 30 40 minutes and the recovery period after the examination may take several hours, during which time the patients cannot return to their normal activities (e.g. no driving).

FIM –Pupil Dilation Device

FIM is the world’s first pupil dilation device. Unlike eye drops, it achieves full dilation in 90-120 seconds and full recovery within minutes. Placed in front of the patient’s eye during the examination, FIM is a non-contact drug-free device, which seamlessly conforms to the existing examination procedure. It completely eliminates the patient’s discomfort, improving patient compliance, while increasing the doctor’s efficiency.
